Guest guest
Dear Friends, Below is an excerpt from "SRI KARUNAMAYI, A Biography", taken from a chapter in which devotees tell in their own words, their experiences and feelings about Karunamayi. If any one is interested in purchasing this book, I believe there are some older editions still for sale (it is presently being revised) and one can purchase them for the low price of $5 (I am not sure how many the person who has, who runs the book store, at this reduced price). If you wish to email the bookstore person, you can check the website (www.karunamayi.org) for this information, and inquire to Satish B., who runs the bookstore in NY. Here is an exceprt from p. 87: "_The opinions expressed by the following people upon meeting the Apostle of Mercy, Bhagavati Sri Sri Sri Vijayeswari Devi, are reproduced below in their own words._" VIJAYESWARI, SEATED AT THE PEAK OF THE VEDAS --_Kuppa Shivaram Byragi Shastri Tharka, Nyaya, Vedanta, Mimansa, Jyothisya Pandit, Ananthpur Having heard about a young _tapasvini_ residing at Sri Penusila Kshetram, the abode of Lord Sri Lakshmi Narasimha, I visited the holy place. After offering my humble _pranams_, I sat before Her. In a matter of a few seconds, She was able to grasp my whole lifetime of learning and spiritual realization. She entered into my inner heart and ascended the summit of my path of _vedic_ philosophy. From this lofty height, She then addressed me. Actually, the person I was seeing was not a _tapasvini_, but She was that Supreme Mother who could be realized by sages only after great penance. After understanding this truth, I became speechless. On that very day, I offered _Sri Satyanarayana puma_ at the feet of the Mother. The Mother took a personal interest in me and gave me Her _prasad_. The one who gets _darshan_ of the divine feet of Mother will surely attain the state of _Brahma_. This is the truth and the absolute truth." (p. 87) Blessings, Kathy @}-->---
