Guest guest
each ten are called so since they have the ten knowledge of the ultimate enligtenment. Kali is the primal since she possess all but she takes on to the extreme and that is space and time, she is applicable to all levels of conciousness, everytime you go to a higher level that becomes the normal or the literal so her vidya is undying and changes as you do. The other mothers are also similar they all have the vidyas but take on particular one to the extreme. I must tell you they also are known to many as the dasha maha matas and like that term better. but before you do their sadhanas call on one of the 36 yakshinis, may I suggest kamakshi, lakshmi or mapalani even mahaghora is a good choice. When you call on one of them they will physically appear before you. They are true authorities on the kaulic arts. Better u talk to them. Digital How To- Get the best out of your PC! Guest guest
Dear Kalikaputra, Thank you for all of your three postings.I consider myself impure to take uip any tantric sadhna at this point. Besides being a keen spiritual seeker of the Absolute, I am a student of philosophy and history as well. I am very well aware about the historical background of tantric cult and well aware that original scriptures, as they are available now, do have an stigma of being abridges/revised/modufied for some reasons. The debate between kaula, sahaja, vajrayani etc is well known. Since each of them aims to same goal or similer goal,I ahve to take all of them highly reverend and prices legacy of the eastern "mother worship cult". My question was aimed as to know(accademically)whether it may be a possiblity or not that the great Nagarjuna of ancient Vikramshila University was inducive to 10 Mahavidyas as highly siritual "skills" then later they came into practice as general Sadhna for material gains. If my theory ( you may call it a conjuncture at this stage) proves to be correct, then I have probably a key to solve the quiz of 64 yoginis,84 Sidhas, 9 naths (refer Dr.Nagendra's thesis on the subject). Thus dear Kali,I am just for intellectual satisfaction(Mano-vilas) I had asked the question, and I beg yr excuse if I have inadvertantly hurt your emmotions or annoyed any of the subtle Mothers.Kindly pray for me to Mother to enlighten. Guest guest
Dear brother, I must tell you one thing, if a kaula should not argue, it is a broad minded school and the mother although the epicenter of the kaulic tradition there is also lord shiva the king of all kaulas. The "mother cult" is beyond me but kaula is a school or sect that was founded by mother parvati if not bhairava. besides i living in Australia and in High school can do tantra then so can you. I admit it has discipline and does take precedence, but it is not only what you do in your shrine room. The sadhana becomes a way of life and soon you will adapt to it like fish to water. There are many here who can guide you, I for one am not competant enough but will do my best to help you out in terms of tantra. Strictly speaking why not you start of with tripura tantra, tara tantra or bhadrani tantram since they are very simple in terms of their practical nature and I am firmiliar with their theosophical/philosophical nature. regards, Vinesh Digital How To- Get the best out of your PC!
