Guest guest
Dear Members I repeat my request to members to PLEASE help conserve space by posting ONLY your response and remove the post to which you are responding. Leave only a reference, if at all, since the entire post is accessible by simply clicking "UPTHREAD". The simplest way to do that is by going to the post you wish to reply to; click "REPLY" and delete the message before you start writing your post. There is no need to repost a message several times, specially if it is a lengthy one. It not only uses up limited space, it also makes the posts unecessarily long which typically loses the audience. I only moderate posts that are irrelavent, repetitive and SPAM, and don't wish to moderate everything. Time is precious for all, both active and silent members. I want to make sure that those who DO take the time to visit the satsangh are presented with valuable information and food for thought and debate, with the least ammount of distracting material. Lengthy posts tend to lose the audience, specially if the posts are being repeated in subsequent replies. I want to take this opportunity to repeat our policy about SPAM. We welcome regularly participating members sharing their own interests, web sites and endeavours to express their sadhna. However we DO NOT welcome posts with the sole purpose to ADVERTISE. That is considered SPAM and will be removed. There are clubs for advertising your groups and is the appropriate place for such advertisements. Annoucements of festivals and other such group activities activities, etc. are very welcome by active members, and will be removed after the event is over. Again, we value alll our members, at any level of practice and want to hear from them. We believe in the value of honest satsangh and its importance in creating and generating a community of sadhaks who are willing to come together and create a light of peace and spiritual strength. In light of recent political events, I hope the need for collective spiritual strength is self-evident. I apologize for any inconvenience and hope that you all will respect my request to streamline our efforts to make your visits a pleasurable and peaceful experience. Love to you all and thank you in advance! _/\_ Tat twam asi Uma
