GODMEN COME TO THE WORLD IN TIMES OF ADVERSITY

Salutations to Thakur, Guru, and Ma!

 

M.--"Rama, Krishna, Buddha, Christ, Mohammad, Shankar, Ramanuja,

 

Nanak, Chaitanya--all these Godmen came to the world in times of adversity.

 

These great personalities came to deliver the message of hope, averring

 

that there is a way to save oneself from suffering.

 

 

Thakur Sri Ramakrishna came and said, 'Hold onto Me. Think on Me.'

 

And then he promised : "Verily, verily I say to unto you, he who thinks on me

 

will inherit my wealth as a son inherits his father's wealth. And my wealth

 

comprises of jnana and bhakti, discrimination and dispassion, peace and

 

joy, bhava and mahabhava, prema and samadhi.'

 

 

 

All his teachings are meant for humanity, directed through his disciples of

 

inner and outer circles.

 

 

 

You see, Christ too came to propagate this great teaching. He said :

 

'Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you

 

rest... for My yoke is easy and My burden is Light." (Mark 11 :28-30)
