Salutations to Thakur, Guru, and Ma !

M.--"When the lotus of Swamiji blossomed its fragrance spread to the horizon. By

reading his lectures the dead are brought back to life, as it were, such heroic

words, so life giving ! One can see two personalities in avatars and their

disciples---one, an ordinary individual, prey to happiness and sorrow; two, a

divine person ever full of bliss. Man is downright feeble yet he has the

consciousness of the Divine above all frailities. All we see in Swamiji's life

is the sublimation of human nature. And mark his divine consciousness. When he

was so much persecuted by the clergy in America, he thundered, 'These sucklings,

babies, want to silence me by threats! Just imagine ! I am a man of nirvakalpa

samadhi. I look at this world like a piece of straw.' He wrote to Miss Macleod

: 'Do you know how I look at the world? I see all filed with Satchitananda-- all

men and beasts, all creepers and plants are apparelled in Satchitananda.' Thakur

had also seen all made of Satchitananda. He said, 'The Mother showed me that

everything was made of wax, in other words, made of Satchitananda."
