Thank you for giving us this information. Can you share with us the

source/s too, so if anyone wants to learn more they can do so by

following up on the references?

This is precisely where the role of sadhaks comes in. To my mind we,

as sadhaks, HAVE to separate religion from the way people use or

misuse them and ake action according to their paths. No religion is

free from misuse, each for reasons of their own. Past cannot be

changed, but we can make the present stronger by postive methods of

strengthening ourselves, not by seeking revenge. Acts of violence,

malicious disrespect of people and law, have to face its

consequences, however it needs to be done APPROPRIATELY and not

indiscriminately.

 

Unless we can come to some consensus on this, the role of community

in "saving" our culture will remain very limited.

 

I present my views and look forward to those of other learned

members of our forum.
