Guest guest
Here is a story .... Sufi saint Bulle Shah was sitting with his disciples. It was the muslim holy month of Ramdaan. Muslims are prohibited from eating before sunset in this month. But Bullesh Shah had transcended all the borders of religion and creed. His disciples were eating carrots. Some muslims passed by them . since the disciples seemed muslims from their cloth and make-up. The persons asked them if they were muslims, disciples nodded their head in affirmative. These persons were annoyed with them and they mercilessly beat them. Then they asked about their master. The disciples pointed towards Bulle Shah. The same question was put to Bulle Shah. " Are you Muslim". Bulle shah remained quiet. The persons left thinking that he might be a mad person. The disciples came to their master and said " Sir, why did we get beaten up . We were eating after taking permission from you" "you had taken permission but your identity as a muslim had not vanished. I remained quite, so God protected me" the ego is the biggest barrier in communication. Until this ego vanishes, touch of the God can not be felt. so, do not worry about somebody being a muslim, hindu or sikh, "give" with your heart not hand-outs ! namashkar
