What is difference between being religious and being spiritual. What is the difference between religion and spirituality. Most of the spiritual myths are generated by Religious people. Like in sikhism, anybody smoking is thought to be a devil and not fit for advancement. In muslim those who drink are from enemy of Satan etc etc In all religions, we have these myths. Some myths we saw here hurled against me. Now perhaps if we can distinguish between Religion and Spirituality, we can solve this problem. Is anybody replying? Sat Sri Akaal ---- vahe guru jee, Guru Nanak Dev ji, while talkling to his muslim disciple Mardana who asked"Which religion is better" Guru Nanak Dev jee beautifully explained Avval Allah Noor Upaya Kudarat de sab Bande Aik noor se sab Jag upjaya Kon Bhale Kon Mandey Sab Data de Bandey The supreme God lit a beautiful Candle (Jyoti), (and the Universe was born) All are creation of Mother Nature Since one Jyoti (divine light) is creator of all whom can we say good and whom bad All are children of God. As Doctor Mahip Singh, Head of Department of Hindi, University of Delhi wrote in his article Babarnama Guru Nank dev ji was very sad on the attacks of Babar on India. He wrote " Babar came and destroyed my beautiful country. The women whose fingers were not seen by outsiders, are lying in pool of blood after being raped by Babar's army. Muslims children were even not spared and brutally killed. O God if you are with Babar, why you were not with these poor children of India" Here Guru Nanak dev ji does not criticise Babar being a muslim but as an invader. He is equally sad over plight of Hindus as well as muslims. DHAN DHAN BABA NANAK PRAGATEYA JAG CHANANA HOVA Blessed guru Nank dev ji incarnated and the world got the divine light again many good wishes on Guru Nanak's birthday and thanks for listening to me Bole so nihaal Sat sri Akaal
