Guest guest
Predestination, to me, means that God has foreseen everything. He is indeed Omniscient, Omnipresent. But then again, we are not robots either, because we can make decisions and do this or that. I believe God has given man limited freewill, however, in the end, God brings back jivas (souls) to Himself when the time is right. That indeed is the mystery of our existence. Guest guest
Dear krsnajoe, Thanks for the post. I was told that even the Gopinis did Tapasya so that they also take their birth when the Krishna was born. Is it true? When everything is predestined? ichanda

Guest guest
Namaste, everyone. Yes, I believe everything is predestined. However, man does have limited freewill. A good example would be, take my son. I might give him some liberty, money, or power. However, eventually that freedom will come to an end. And so it must be with man. We have limited freewill, however, God is Sovereign, so ultimately no permanent harm can happen to the soul. God is Love (Prem), & all will end well, with Love overcoming all negativity and ignorance (evil, etc.). That indeed is the greatest thing about God; He is Love, and His Love is always victorious. Guest guest
Dear All: I think this is a wonderful topic. Can we start a thread and try to understand why this may be so?
