Guest guest
Often clarifying basic concepts helps in our understanding of some of these issues. This is an interesting article I found. http://www.alternativeapproaches.com/magick/tatwas/tatwas02.htm The evolution of inanimate matter to the stage of humans is important in our understanding of how ultimate moksha is attained. I personally haven't gone into the deeper study of the tatwas.. looking forward to hope those who have to share what they have learned! _/\_ Tat twam asi Uma > Plants, insects, mammals and humans cannot be considered equal as > far as their tattwic nature is concerned. In plants only one tattwa is prevailing, that of earth if I remember correct, in insects fire and earth (2 tattwas), mammals have 4 tattwas active and only humans use earth, fire, water, air and ether. Guest guest
The only knowledge worth knowing and realising subjectively is the Tattwa. Tattwa is the Self. Like a midwife who has never herself conceived, but feels the labour pains of every pregnant mother she handles, one can go into study and dissection ad nauseam. One has to be a mother to experience child birth. In the same way one has to realise the Self or Tattwa to be liberated. The Tattwa you write about and what is written in the link provided by you is knowledge of Prakriti, not the real Tattwa gyana.
