One uses Rudraksha mala for chanting of the

Panchakshari (Om Namah Shivaya) or the Maha

Mrityunjaya Mantra. For the Dwadasha Mantra (Om Namo

Bhagvate Vasudevaya) Tulsi Bead Mala is prefered.

 

If material resources are readliy available, by all

means follow the scriptures to the word. However, as

long as you chant it with faith and devotion, with the

intention to better yourSELF, the physical accessories

become secondary.
