I meant is that Maya has to be understood, and transcended and for this running away from Maya will not do. Paths aside, if we wish to understand the core of Hinduism, we have to study Krishna (not from a sect's eyes - but with the eyes of a true seeker). Krishna is embodiement of religion. All other avataars before him, were either for killing a particular demon or for a specific purpose. None of them was perfect not even Rama. Kaliyug was approaching and the Existence thought it best to give an example of ideal human, ideal yogi, ideal friend, ideal lover, ideal warrior, ideal gyani and ideal relative....and Krishna was all of these. Someone in this club wrote a story earlier... i just recall. Once all the gopis came to Krishna and told him that they were looking for a sadhu so that they can offer some food to him as that day was some special day. Krishna said 'OK offer food to my guru..and dont worry about Yamuna river...just say aloud if Krishna is real Brahmchari..o mother yamuna give us way". Gopis laughed..but when they uttered these words yamuna gave way to them. They reached the guru and offered him food, who like a hungry for years man ate all the food left nothing even for prasaad. He blessed the gopis and told them ok now tell before yamuna if guru has never eaten anything o yamuna give us way....gopis laughed again but surprisingly yamuna gave them way again. This little story tells us really how to deal with Maya. Krishna though looking like enjoying, dancing and loving gopis is a brahmchari and the guru eating greedily is on Vrata ? So running away from MAYA will not do, induldging in it like agyani will not do, closing eyes from it will not do..... Maya maha-thhagini hum jaani wat is the way out then little angie ? love and blessings
Guest guest
Babaji I dont disagree, nor did I impy that you mentioned that we should induldge in the world, without any renunciation. I agree that maya has got to be understood before renunciating it, I just tried to become the "advocate of the devil" and fight thoughts which might arise from too much freedom of morality or too less freedom of morality. The way through it remains the same, balance, selfobservation and a healthy relationship with our own mind.
