Guest guest
Uttarayana = longer day light, nights r shorter, more warmth, more heat. These r the characteristics. Light = knowledge of truth. Warmth = activity, love Heat = agni = aspiration for more & more growth in truth. So when our mind aspires for growth in the lite of truth & when we progress in that direction, we’re in the uttarayana path. When we grow more & more in lite, we expand in divine oneness & our love grows. We enjoy our work, joyful, each & every moment becomes an opportunity to learn & grow. We’re filled with +ve energies which we spread around erasing all gloominess & there is harmony which enables us to enjoy , feel & live in the silence of our soul(eternal peace), bliss, divine love, the power of divine knowledge. Dhakshinayana Dakshinayana= longer nights, darkness, cold. Nights = darkness = ignorance Cold weather = laziness(we don’t feel like getting up), selfishness, no concern for anybody r anything, gloom. So when our mind is not willing to grow in truth & prefers the usual routine of ignorance, we’re in the dhakshinayana path. We’re away from the truth. There is always a conflict within us which leads to destruction & deterioration. Our soul is hurt, mind is always gloomy unwilling to see the niceties & body is under pressure forcing us to feel tired, lethargic, uninterested, making us hate ourselves & disbelieve others. We do not hear the cries of our soul & r unable to enjoy the presence of the Divine & its plays. There’s delusion, confused memory, destruction of reason, & we perish. We’re forced to take birth again & again till we learn to grow in lite. So we need not take it as a season , but as the path our mind is willing to take. Hari AUM. India Matrimony: Find your life partneronline. It is clear that Shri Krishna is not indicating towards seasons, and is indicating towards a greater truth in this shloka. There may be some other explantion of this shloka too. Love and regards, baba ....... As gathered from Tatwamasi Mata JI !, some Hare Krishna walas left the group allegeing that baba offended them (By asking this question). I wish to clarify that i have not come here to offend anyone but share my thoughts with like minded people. Perhaps some of their own complexes, made them offended. I have a lot of respect for anyone who is on the path of sadhna in any form. So I request my friends to come back and join us in sharing the truth. Those who do not agree to our ideas or those who oppose us may not be necessarily rogues...they may be right sometimes.
