Guest guest
Greetings and love to you all, I am a vegetarian for a number of reasons. Besides the moral reasons, such as, animals being filled with drugs and hormones to fatten them, mother cows being artificially impregnated to produce milk and then the calves being used for veil, and just the simple fact that no regard or respect is taken for their lives, my main reason lies in self- conciousness. I do believe that everything has self- conciousness, but everything from the animal kingdom up to man has a stronger sense of self- conciousness, thus making samskaras stronger. So with that in mind I feel the vegetarian diet is best for those trodding the path to realize higher conciousness. My reason for saying this leads to a question, and I hope all who are willing to share their thoughts will do so. My question is, Do you think this beautiful creation as we know it would exist if everything was as self concious as us, or would it create to much chaos? Or on the other hand, does anybody think plants and other forms of life are just as self concious as humans? I would love to hear the opinions from anyone. Thank you and many blessings, IcapoI (Tyler)
