Guest guest
--Greetings, may the light of SELF keep us conciously united, I am glad the topic of prayer has come up, because this can be a controversial issue amongst seekers. When we pray where does one conciously direct their thoughts? And when one enters into their sanctuary of silence are they praying or pleading out of weakness and desperation? I for one am a strong believer in prayer, but prayer is not meant for "personal gain". If one holds their intentions of prayer within the ego, then I say it is in vain. If one should choose to include prayer in their life, then it should be a calling upon of our birth right in divinity, for the strength and clearity to carry out the will of the SELF and not our self. As long as our prayer keeps us centered in this, then our prayers are always answered within the eternal moment of creation. Here in the west, one particular prayer is taught, which is the popular prayer of the Bible as taught by Yeshoua the Christ. This prayer is commonly called "Our Father". For those who are not familiar with this, I will post it upon request at another time. What I will say is that the commonly known version of this is not accurate and has fallen victim, over centuries, to the watering down of mistranslation. So I would like to share a more pure version of the original prayer commonly called "Our Father". "O cosmic birther of all radiance and vibration, soften the ground of our being, and carve out a space within us where your presence can abide. Fill us with your creativity so that we may be impowered to bear the fruit of our mission. Let each of our actions bear fruit in accordance with our desire. Endow us with the wisdom to produce and share what each being needs to grow and flourish. Untie the tangled threads of destiny that binds us, as we release others from the entanglement of past mistakes. Do not let us be seduced by that which would divert us from our true purpose, but illuminate the opportunities of the present moment. For you are the ground and the fruitful vision, the birth power and the fulfillment, as all is gathered and made whole once again. Selah" This is directly from Aramaic to English, and although one word in Aramaic can have 5 or 6 different meanings in english, this is closer to what the Jewish Master taught. Whether one chooses to use prayer as a tool or not I wish you all strength and light upon the path.
