Guest guest
dear friend Lord is substratum of the whole creation and hence forms base. Without Him creation cannot sustain. Lord created the universe for entertainment. He has given free will to all the human beings to do whatever they like. But, the results will follow the deeds. So, He is indirectly controlling, that is to say that enjoyment for good deeds and misery for bad deeds. Misery is to bring realisation only and not to repeat the same bad deed. Otherwise, He is not responsible for one's deeds. Most of the times, we misunderstand God and interpret wrongly. For proper understanding of Him, we should learn the divine knowledge and practice it. Lord preaches the true spiritual knowledge in human form only, like Jesus, Krishna and Prophet Mohammed. His mission is to uplift human beings by preaching the divine knowledge. We should participate in His mission as His servants without aspiring anything in return. The practical participation (in form of donating money and physically spending \by working) will only prove our devotion. Real love involves sacrifice. When we sacrifice ourselves and serve our kith-kin we are getting enjoyment. Our enjoyment comes with the enjoyment of our beloved, which clearly shows that the true love involves sacrifice. Mostly people love Lord for their desires to be fulfilled. If things are out of control then we rush to lord & start prayers. This devotion is like a prostitute loving her customer. If one really loves Lord without any desire, then only Lord will be pleased. When a beggar approaches us, we generally offer him whatever is least useful to us. But, when a relative comes to our house, we provide good food, facilities & even ask to stay for some more time. Why is difference in our approach? Beggar comes to us for what we give. He is not having any love to us. Whereas a relative has not come for our food, he has come to see us. This shows love. Our approach to Lord should be with love as relative but not like beggar, who approaches only for satisfying desires. We should not worship lord only to satisfy our desire. Prayers by words, meditation by mind & spiritual discussions form preliminary level of worship. Devotee should search for Lord in human form to learn divine knowledge and should serve Him in His mission. To achieve the grace of Lord is the goal of life. When a human being is limited to food, drink, sleep, sex and their blind bonds with the issues only, the human being is not different from the animal or bird in anyway. When you stop your spiritual efforts and your efforts are always towards to the world, the Lord does not sanction the human re-birth to you and subsequently you will be thrown in to the cycle of animals and birds. Thus, the Lord is justified in such action. In such case there is no use of the human birth at all. It is not essential to achieve the goal in this human birth itself. If you are in constant trail with full sincerity till the last moment of this human birth that is sufficient. You should not be discouraged by the failures. You should not stop your efforts. One day or other, you will certainly succeed. Even in the worldly efforts, success is seen by constant efforts. In spiritual efforts, the help from the Lord is additionally associated. This is stated in Gita (Yatate cha tato bhuyah… ). The human re-birth is negated as a general rule because most of the human beings fall under this general rule. The special devotee comes under the special exemption. If you are under such special exemption, you need not worry about the general rule. If you are in the constant trail, you will reach the Lord even after several human re-births as said in Gita (bahunam janmanam …). However, early is better always. You can treat every day as a fresh human birth and the sleep in every night as death. In such case you will achieve the goal in this birth it self. The Christians and Muslims are the best in this point, which do not believe in the human, re-birth and become careful and alert. Hindus, who believe in the human re-birth, are neglecting the spiritual efforts, postponing to the old age and then to the next human birth. Hindus must know that the human re-birth is only a special example and not the general case. Even in Hinduism it is said that the human birth is very rare (Nara Janma Durlabham). at the lotus feet of shri datta swami surya B K <bkgswu wrote: Supreme Soul plays the role of Father, Teacher and Satguru at the same time.As a Father We inherit all His Properties since God is being called as Ocean of Mercy,Knowledge, Powers, Bliss, Happinesss, Virtures etc., including the Jeevan Mukti in heaven. The life and Rebirth is based upon our actions (Thoughts) carried out in our present and past life.If we have accounts generated among us, we would reborn among ourselves, again to settle those accounts, which are called as Karmic Accounts. Actions, Karma are classified into 1) Akarma 2) Sukarma and 3) Vikarma The Akarmas are performed in purely soul conscious stage during the first few births we take immediately coming from the soul world. There is no accounts generated during these type of Actions Vikarmas are performed in complete body conscious with Lust, Anger, Greed, Ego and attachment. This leads to rebirth among the persons whom we had performed vikarmas to settle the accounts and this creating and settling of accounts keep continuing by means of Life and Death. Sukarmas are the actions performed with Good wishes, Good feelings by clearing our accounts of vikarma by the Power of Spirituality and only good Karmic accounts get stored in to our account, which we experience, being born to lead a life of Akarma. Guest guest
You are just trying to divert people from the truth. > You are spending lot of your time and energy in analyzing these worldly affairs. You are egoistic and you think that you are intelligent to solve the worldly affairs. And who are you to judge what we do and who we are? Man has the power and the freedom to form his own life. Man is intelligent enough not only to solve wordly affairs but to achieve all the great accomplishments ever achieved by artists, philosophers, scientists and yogis. The greatest mistake that all these false preachers do is to make devotees feel bad for themself. Yes, creating guild and fear in the devotees might be a way to control them. But its not the way to self- realization. The way to self realization is to have respect for the body/mind and soul that we have been given by using its full potential in accordance to the divine laws. Its person is the temple of the living god and has the greatest godly potential. Each human is divine. >If you spend even one-tenth of that time and that energy in the service and devotion on Lord Datta, Amazing how some people try to command others around! >His level of work starts when you go to the hell after the death. Its like the forgiveness-papers that the pope used to sign. I ll sign for you and you wont go to hell. You just have to believe all the crap I tell you and donate your will and money to the church. ))
Guest guest
Namaste. Here is an excerpt from Srimad Bhagavatam by Swami Shantananda Puri: "..There is an interesting episode of Venu Gita (The Song of the Flute) in the 21st chapter of 10th Skandha of Srimad Bhagavatam. The Gopis (cowherd women) are all so intensely devoted to Lord Krishna that, wherever they turn, they imagine all nature as worshipping and lying ensnared by the bewitching charm of the Lord. They feel envious of the flocks of does (female deer) accompanied by their black bucks, which have come to hear the sweet melodies of Krishna's flute, as if enchanted. They could also see the cows and calves gathered around the Lord, the calves forgetting to drink the milk oozing from their mothers' udders, all with their ears attuned to listen to the strains of Krishna's flute. They imagine the rivers and the streams hastening with their hand- like waves carrying gifts of lotus flowers to be offered at the Lord's lotus feet in a fervent embrace. The birds sitting quietly on the boughs of trees, with their eyes closed, are sages who have assumed that form in order to enjoy the divine music emanating from the Lord's flute. When the mellifluous notes of the Lord's flute blaze forth in the beautiful night, the Gopis whose hearts are full of love for the Lord run to him immediately, abandoning whatever worldly activities had engaged them at that moment. Gopis who were feeding their husbands and children, those who were milking cows, those who were in the process of dressing themselves --- all of them dropped those activities midway and ran to the Lord, their hair disheveled, their robes in disarray, totally unaware of their bodies. How many of us will be prepared to drop our activities and turn to the Lord? His call is always sounding in our hearts, but few of us heed it at all! Another beautiful aspect of this episode is that, on the one hand, only those Gopis who could run to Krishna on the Yamuna bank that night were able to enjoy His company; on the other hand there were a few Gopis who were restrained from going by their husbands or other relatives and were locked up in dark windowless rooms. They also got instant liberation. "duhsaha preSTa viraha tIvratApa dhutAzubhAH dhyAnaprAptA chyutA zleSa nirvrttyA khINamangalAH" (Srimad Bhagavatam 10.29.10) Such liberation can only come when their stock of Punya (merit) and Papa (sin) gets completely exhausted so that the soul does not have to get embodied any more as there is no stock of either Punya or Papa to be experienced. In the case of the latter category of Gopis who were locked up in dark rooms with no exit, they were utterly miserable and their entire bodies were burning in the 'fire' of separation from their beloved Lord. Experiencing such untold and extreme misery exhausted their stock of sin (Papa). Likewise while meditating on the Lord, they found themselves, in their imagination, embracing the Lord and experiencing the utmost Bliss. This extreme joy exhausted their stock of Punya (merit). Having thus exhausted all their Prarabdha of merit and sin, they were immediately relieved from the bondage of 'Samsara' (cycle of births and deaths), left their bodies and attained liberation. This is the height of Sadhana, intense longing for the Lord alone is the key to salvation. Ramakrishna Paramahamsa was prepared to cut off his own head when he felt frustrated on finding that he could not get the 'Darshan' of Kali, and this led to instant realization The Gopis' love for the Lord and their devotion to Him were so all-consuming that all their ego was dissolved. They were prepared to transgress all norms of morality and even face ostracism by society. In fact, they had no body sense at all, and they lived only in Krishna, going beyond the accepted norms of virtue and sin, morality and immorality (a-morality). In his Bhakti Sutras, Narada cites these Gopis as ideal devotees of the highest order. The Gopis were fully aware that Krishna was not a mere handsome neighbor of theirs, but He was the Lord Himself, incarnated for the good of the entire world at the specific request of Lord Brahma. They clearly avow this knowledge while lamenting Krishna's disappearance from their midst. (Gopika Gitam, X-31-4): "nakhalu gopikA nandano bhavAn akhila dehinAm antarAtma dRk, vikhanasArthito vizva guptaye sakha! udeyivAn sAtvatAM kule " (Srimad Bhagavatam 10.31.4) " O Krishna, we know it for certain that You are no Gopi's son. On the other hand, You are the witness residing in the hearts of all embodied souls. We also know that You have taken birth in this world, among these cowherd clans of ours in response to Brahma's prayer in order to save the whole world". The noblest type of Bhakti is where a devotee revels in the happiness and well-being of his or her beloved and is extremely miserable in the latter's misery. The Gopikas, in their lamentation, describe the state of their minds when Krishna used to leave daily for the forests in Brindavan for grazing the cows --- "calasi yad vrajA ccArayan pazUn nalina sundaraM nAtha te padam, zila tRNAMkuraiH sIdatIti naH kalilatAM manaH kAnta! gacchati" (10.31.11) "O Beloved Lord! How miserable we were when we thought of You running bare-footed with Your tender feet bleeding from the pricks of sharp stones and thorns while taking out the cows for grazing!" (X-31-11) The Gopikas sing, weeping, "tava kathA 'mrtam tapta jIvanam kavibhirIDitam kalmaSApaham zravaNa mangalam zrImadAtatam bhuvi gRNanti ye bhUridA janAH" "Lord, hearing Your stories and glories is a divine nectar which would rejuvenate and gladden the hearts of those dying with miseries. It can annihilate all our Vasanas and sins as reiterated by the wise ones. It is only those devotees who are rich with the knowledge of the Lord's glories that do great acts of charity by disseminating this knowledge among others". (X-31-9) --- Swami Shantananda Puri Jaya Sri Radhey!
