Guest guest
When God created the mind, He has given a quality to it called 'thinking'. 'To think' is the very nature of mind. We should not try or aspire for making it blank because it is impossible and is against its nature. When anything natural is to be done, it does not require any resistance. Ex: water to flow from higher level to lower level. Instead of making it blank, let it be filled with thoughts of Lord. Here, worldly thoughts are being replaced with thoughts on Lord. Generally one's mind is oriented to the worldly matters mostly. i.e., it is filled with worldly thoughts only. Likewise intelligence is filled with worldly knowledge only. In the spiritual effort, we are making our mind to orient to Lord slowly. Sofar the mind is completely immersed in worldly matters, desires etc., it definitely requires lot of effort to orient it towards Lord. Now, if true divine is knowledge is learnt from Satguru, intelligence gets strengthened. With the Help of strengthened intelligence, it becomes relatively easy to orient mind to Lord. Intelligence acts like a guru (within yourself) and whenever mind is orienting towards worldly matters, it will try to concentrate it on God. Hence, divine knowledge is most important. This leads us to true devotion. That is why whenever Lord comes in human form like Adisankara, Krishna, Jesus, Prophet they all preached Jnana or divine knowledge only. These preachings have to be followed to really get some spiritual benefit. Bhajans, meditation and spiritual discussions form a basic level of worship of Lord only. Next stage is try to identify a Satguru, learn the divine knowledge from Him and Serve Him to get His grace. Words/interpretations of human beings have no relevance in the spiritual effort. That is why the words of Lord only like Gita, Vedas, bible, and Khuran are only prevailing as Basis. Mind is the barrier between Jiva and God and until it is stilled and sent back to its origin, no merger will take place. Mind was necessary to make us wake from our slumber in the matter...and to bring us here where we are, but mind has to be abandoned for the final leap !!! with love baba
Guest guest
yogaha chittavrittuniradham= mean yoga is the neutralisation of chittavritti(which come due to attachemnts)here attachement is mental, physical as well as because of the gained knowledge trough books, learned from others everything which makes even a single movement is chitta or heart. 100% stalled identity is exposed to brahman since it has lost everything which is covered by maya. --- Baba ji <beirut_ka_baba wrote:
Guest guest
The boundaries of the human mind are unfathomable. The potential of human is endless and limitless. We have a mission on earth, so does the mind. One of the tasks is to think. By no means is this the sole thing it can do!!! We are more that this! Meditation is also natural. Great scientists and artists have gone into trance while working on their masterpieces. Mystics all over the world cleared their mind and entered meditation seeing visions of the supernatural world. We are souls going through a human experience and not human bodies trying to experience the soul. We are that! With every birthright! The thought of God is only a thought. It is not God himself. Exactly as the thought of water does not quench your thrist. Knowledge cannot be taught, it can only be experienced. , prakki surya <dattapr2000> wrote: > > When God created the mind, He has given a quality to it called 'thinking'.
