This TRUST was formed to renovate Ancient Temples.

 

FIRST (dilapidated) TEMPLE

(Sri Dhandayuthapani Temple)

was renovated and

Kumbabhishekam celebrated on 20-01-2001.

 

 

SECOND (dilapidated) TEMPLE

(Sri Chokkanatha Swami Temple)

is now renovated at a cost of nearly Rs.Three Lakhs.

 

 

 

 

 

KUMBABHISHEKAM WILL BE PERFORMED

ON 10-02-2006

(Last Kumbabhishekam in this Temple was celebrated

nearly 85 years ago)

 

Sri Chokkanatha Swami Temple,

Thirumangaicheri Village, (Near Pandanallur)

(on the Kumbakonam—Manalmedu Bus Route--Route No.54)

 

This Temple has been historically associated with the Queen

Mangaiyarkarasi of Madurai, several centuries ago. Her husband, hunch-backed

Pandiya King (Koon Pandiyan), was completely cured by the Blessings of the Lord

Sri Chokkanathar. In view of her Devotion, she built this Temple for Sri

Chokkanathar at Thirumangaicheri Village, in her Chozha Domain. BY

HIS BLESSINGS, all Devotees will have A HAPPY & PROSPEROUS LIFE.

 

 

 

 

 

A sum of Rs. 90,000/- (Rupees Ninty Thousand only) is now estimated To

celebrate this KUMBABHISHEKAM THE TRUST FULLY DEPENDS ON THE

CONTRIBUTIONS FROM DEVOTEES. The Trust is also authorised to accept Cheques

in any currency.

All the Devotees in India / Abroad are requested to contribute to the

possible extent to complete this mission and to take part in this

rare KUMBABHISHEKAM BEING CELEBRATED

AFTER A PERIOD OF 85 YEARS.
