Guest guest Posted April 14, 2006 Report Share Posted April 14, 2006 While there is no comparison between the depth of knowlewdge in Sanatan Dharm and any of the other faiths, if I am not mistaken, there is a good bit of blood and gore in some of the famous good- over-evil battles presented in the Puranas. Many, unfortunately use that too, as a justification for their support of the fanatical and gory actions of today. As long as one is divisive and sees differences instead of similarities, each will see the other as the "EVIL" that must be destroyed. And at the same time, there are fairminded, loving, peaceful people from all faiths, hundreds of thousands of them. Most unfortunately appear to be quiet, unwilling to stand up for their stand, outshouted by the hate and war-mongers. Perhaps they are afraid, perhaps the aren't as passionate about their beliefs as the other side is. This phenomenon I don't quite understand. What I do understand is that "The world is only as we are". If we have sadness, hurt, anger, hate and fear in our hearts, we will attract to ourselves like a radar, everything that supports such emotions and behavior.
