Om Kali,

"O mind, my ancient friend, this projected Universe is

only a faint reflection of reality.

By attempting to grasp reflected images,

we cheat ourselves of true experience.

Turn instead to the original, and discover the limitless

treasure of delight.

This realm of reflection we encounter consists of earth,

wind, fire, water, arranging and rearranging with increasing

complexity. The principle of subtle energy evolves naturaly

into tangibility, blossuming as living worlds beyond number.

A single son reflects in countless water bowls. As these

earthenware worlds are broken, one by one, the sunlight

of primal awareness remains the same.

Floating in the Cosmic Mother's Lucent womb, we are all

contemplatives, but taking birth in the obscure realm of

separation, we consume earth instead of nectar, convention

instead of rapture, time instead of timelessness. The cord

that bound me to my human mother was severed quickly and

cleanly by the midwife. Can I cut as easily this illusion

of bondage to the world?

The passionate words of a selfish lover at first taste

sweeter than honey, but they contain the poison of delusion.

The singer of this song once drained the cup of selfish love

and felt the anguish of its touch.

But now Mother's poet tastes only Her authentic bliss and

weeps spiritual tears: 'Ma Kali! Ma Kali! Ma Kali! Great

Goddess! Union of relative and absolute! Laughing daughter

of the eternal snow mountain!

Do what you will with me!'"

Jai Kali !!!
