Guest guest
Namaste, Om Kali Ma!!! I have the book "Kali Puja" by Sw. Sathyananda Saraswati and it's an excellent book...for pandits and priests. I am a simple young Westener, does anyone have a simplier form of traditional puja/arati? Thanks a lot! Guest guest
Dear Varuna, I quite agree. The people at Kali Mandir in Laguna Beach, CA have a great short Kali puja form that is imminently do-able on a daily basis. I just went to their web site (http://www.kalimandir.org/homepage.asp) and did not see it listed, so maybe it is out of print. Contact them, and if they don't have a copy to sell, maybe we could work something out whereby I could photocopy it and you could give them a donation or something (if they approve). Guest guest
Namaste Varunaji, No it is not for pujaris and priest but for Kali devotees. It looks thick because it has basic, intermediate and advance puja in them as Devi Mandir are not in selling the puja books( separate basic , intermediate or advance books) but into giving a comprehensive manual in its entirety to any devotees so they have scriptural references on higher practices as they evolve further in spritual practices .
