Guest guest
Namaste Nicole, Merry meet! Thanks for introducing yourself and sharing. Enjoyed every bit of it. Your friendliness delights our hearts. Your father obviously had some sort of ' attuned connection' while he was in Cambodia. Its a shame about the atrocities that happened there those years ago and they turned the nation into "Kampuchea". Its meant to be....that those sacred items now come into your possession. Temples, relics, scriptures, scrolls, etc. were destroyed or runined through the years. It is most likely that the items your dad brought back, are now considered "Rarities", possibly even 'antiques'. These days, there are many replicas in Asia, but nothing like what you have. You are indeed blessed! Jai Maa Sy Kali_Ma, Nicole <maritimemystic@e...> wrote: > > I'm a Druid and a professional Tarot reader, esthetician, and Reiki practitioner. When I moved to my present location, even though its rural, I had a hell of a time trying to connect to Them. It was a really hard adjustment to this area, because my grove and my gods had become a big part of my identity. Something tinkled in the boxes and I pulled out two little bronze statues that my father had gotten when he was in Cambodia serving under the UN in 1993, when I was 21. One is a bell, with a dancing Shiva on it. He looks really happy and lively. The other is not a bell, but a statue of the same height, of Ma Kali, with Her many arms and many faces, looking sternly on one side, happy on the other, etc..... > > I know that I did not pack those because they weren't really mine to take. My father got them, because he became fascinated with Eastern deities while he was away. Later on I was talking to my dad and he mentioned his statues. "Oh, I always meant to give them to you because you were always more into this than me. I see that you took them when you left." I didn't know what to tell him so I told him about my dream. > > Being my father, his reaction was "Well its better than a kick in the arse." > > Oh my goodness!!! I'll have to end this on a rather stilted note, I just looked at the clock and realized that I have a client coming in 20 minutes!!! Guest guest
Maa Khali Hi there I see that Mother has knocked on your door too. She is very noughty sometimes and likes to give us a little scare. I think she does this because sometimes we need a scare to turn our heads arround and not take her for granted.... Everyone has their own story .... We never choosed her but she is one who chooses us... Well lets stop being mushy mushy... If you could be more accurate on her form that u have than maybe we can check the orgin of this form and which part of the scriptures has if come from... I need things like how many hands? How many legs?how many heads?what garlland she wears(scull or head) What are the wepons She has in Her hands. With some luck we think we can find the source of this form and recomend you the books you should read...Don't worry about how to get the books.... If you really want it you willl get it...always remember you never chosed her its She who chose you... There is a big cross monument there and Ma Kali was standing on top of it. I thought this was odd, since I never dreamed of Ma Kali before, nor did I know anything really about any of the gods from the East. Anyway, She was standing with Her hands on Her hips, like some farmer surveying his crops. Brighid and Sylvestrus walked up with me, and then Sylvestrus said "Well she's all Yours now." and then They vanished. > > Ma Kali looked me right in the eye, and I felt more than a little self-conscious. Then I woke up quite suddenly (possibly more to do with my son bouncing on my bladder than for any mystical reasons:-) Later on that morning I was throwing out boxes in my studio and finishing my unpacking.
