Kring and Krim

I've been trying to figure this out myself for awhile.

 

What I've been able to piece together is that M and NG are represented by the

same Sanskrit letter, but that the NG pronunciation is favored by follows of

Tantra because vibration happens in the roof of the mouth instead of the lips,

which impacts the brain directly.

 

There is actually a third variation "KIRING" (kih-reeng) in which the short "ih"

before the R "heats up" the following NG.

 

Pretty crazy stuff.
