I am also very attracted by Mother Kali and often worship her, but recently I were to a yagyas session held by swami Samarpananda Saraswati nearby where I live, and heard, he said that, of course Kali-Ma is a very charming deity, and this are she who bestows final liberation, but on other hand, usually devoties of Kali are usually are poore peoples, and that she usually dont give very good life in material sense, and, since we are peoples who have to live in the world, it would be better to pray more to Durga for a better quality of material life....or at least to combine worship to both of them... May be some peoples here could share their experiences in this respect, and is it realy so, that Kali-Ma devotiees are mostly destined to live quite limited material life.. On one hand I understand, that spiritul growth asks not to be very dismayed by illusiory world, but on other hand, if we can't be yet sannyasi, so we still need also material benefits... Kali is the goddess who takes things away (ask her to take away your poverty!); Durga is the goddess who fills you up. There is only one GOD 3.A lover is a lover .I love Ma whether I am rich or poor . If am happy,I thank Ma and if I am sad I cry to Ma . But I cannot love her lesser . You see, she is my Mother ......... 4 The world an illusion for some and for some the reality ,why worry about philosophy why worry ,if you think ma is there ,then ma is there only for child - and you are that !!! HER CHILD ! 5. If you think every think is HER will then your DESTINY is her WILL also . If you think LOVE is her WILL .Then LOVING her is HER will .Then love her no matter what ............... Forgive me this is my experience I share , the more learned members here would be able to share more about Her better than I do but I LOVE her so much that I must share what i FEEL with you I pray for you to get closer to HER - for me this is the greatest wealth in this life !!!
