Guest guest
10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy">Hello, 10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy"> 10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy">I will be very brief here and go as per my limited understanding. 10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy"> There are 4 kinds of thoughts, positive, negative, waste and habitual. Habitual thoughts are normal and arise as per habit. When I wake up in the morning I know I have to brush bathe and have tea/coffee. There is no effort in these thoughts. Waste thoughts are directed towards things, objects and people where I have nothing to do but I think about them uselessly. I don't benefit form these thoughts. Negative thoughts arise mostly form waste thoughts, anger, envy, jealousy, greed; lust and attachment are cause and effect of these negative thoughts. Positive thoughts are where I believe a positive outcome of things being hopeful and assured. I can be assertive when I am influenced by these positive thoughts. 10.0pt;font-family:Arial">Maybe its to do a good of another or benefit ano 10.0pt;font-family:Arial">ther. 10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy"> Duty, is what I have to do. There are no two ways about this. Even if I don't like it I have to do it. There may be duty inspired by Dharma naya niti or by common usage of font-family:Arial">the world. Duty may at times be unpleasing for me, making me do things that do not give me pleasure. Like studying may hamper my plans to go for a movie and snacks with my friends. Emotions may hamper me from doing my duty, like if I love someone and that person does not love me but loves another, then I may hate font-family:Arial">the 3rd person and try ways and means to harm and break up these 2 persons company. 10.0pt;font-family:Arial">My duty is to see that my beloved is happy even if with another. 10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy"> By indulging in the 5 vikaras I lose my spiritual and mental energies My mind is indulged in anger envy and hatred. These erode the positive auras which one usually has irrespective of his spiritual development. I try to find fulfillment in achieving my desires which arise again and again. I try to find happiness which is temporary and can not fulfill me. 10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy"> 10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy">The answer to color:navy">these 3 situations is to realize font-family:Arial;color:navy">the self, be un attached to the color:navy"> deed committed by us. If I know who I really am Sachidanand Atman and not a mere body who's identification is color:navy">Mr. So and so. I will commit my duties in a non attached way and only because color:navy">they have to be done and that I am not the color:navy"> actual doer or I am not truly involved in color:navy">the deed. I will not identify myself in the color:navy">se deed and hence any thoughts will not arise in me making me one with 10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy">the deed. Hence I will be free from all influences good or bad and I shall realize my pure un-stained self and not carry any account fur color:navy">ther. Since I am free I can look in depth into my development and carrying out my duty will be a mere function not ruled by any emotion or sense of expectation. I can and will eb able to focus on myself only. I can tap the color:navy"> fountain head of perpetual eternal bliss form within me and be complete. Purnamada purnasyamadaya...................... I am content and fulfilled. 10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy"> 10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy">If I am Sachidanand Atman a reflection of color:navy">the supreme truth how can I be ordinary, Neithe color:navy">r fire nor water can effect me, I was never born nor will I ever die.
