Guest guest
Jeeyer swami, I have some doubts: 1) What is the significance of wearing madisar and is there any restriction to wearing it. 2) How to observe aacharam and anushtanam 3) One of my astrolger told me that I have some missing performance to my aacharyan. They told me, it can be compensated by doing a sumangali-pratanai. Please suggest. Adiyel: Aandal
Guest guest
Priya Sriman Sourirajan & Andalji! Jai SRimannarayana! We are surprised to see your question about Madi etc. 'Madi' means a barricade. Usually,in cultivable fields farmers make small"madies" to cultivate specific crops making a protection to water the plants. That barricade is made of mud only. Here, in orthodox families, when they take a shower and want to make some puja or dhyanam or meditation, they want to protect their electro-magnetic fields, generated by the meditation they do, within themselves, for which they would not touch anybody and wear clothes that are dried purely. That will be observed till that particular performance is observed. After that is over and they took prasadam, they come out and do their regular work and there will be no 'madi'as such. But, when we observe it in houses or such places, some people wont observe it at all, some wo observe, they think it is by wearing wet clothes, drenching the house or causing some trouble to others they think that they are doing this. WE think you got the point. Once madi sari is used, the madi has gone and it needs tobe soaked and dried again. That sari can be used all the times, otherwise. 2. Observing acha:ram and anushtanam, should be learned from the family. Mainly, observing things in pure and impeccable way and more, healthy way. In addition to that there is something we need to learn from the family or gurus' also, while they are practicing. 3. We did not understand what the puja your archaka wanted you to perform. We never heard that name so we cannot comment on that. What we suggest you to do is, do sna:nam, wear thilak, sit for some time meditating upon the manthra you took from your guru or a manthra you liked or some sthothras you have liked like Sri vishnu sahasranamam etc., and if possible do some simple puja, cook something offer that to God, take that as God's prasadam, then go to your work. Tillyou finish that work, do not touch anybody and wear suddha vasthra ie., soaked and dried before night or in the morning and do all these things. If you are not used to cook anyting, offer anything you eat to God also and take it and go to your work. WE are sure this is easy for you.
