Respected Jeeyar swami,

Namskaram.

I have a question, which may be kind of hypothetical.

Nevertheless ...

Assume a Sri Vaishnavite (say person A), has been

assigned a task by his AchAryaa, which requires him to

complete a set of tasks in the temple by a certain

time of the day. It so happens one day, that he finds

someone (say person B) who is in need of help and

since there is no one to help person B he extends his

help out of compassion for him, but that means he

cannot complete the task assigned by his AchArya.

Person B may not be a nice person or a devotee of God

etc etc, but still person A, is compassionate and is

not able to ignore person B when he/she needs help.

So he is kind of committing Achaaryaa apachaaram as he

won't be able to complete the task given by his

Achaarya.

What is our sampradayam's stand on this? The intention

of the question is to know does following sampradaayam

mean following a stringent set of rules, no matter

what comes by?

Thanking you and praNaams,

Harini
