Guest guest
Namaste ji, Thank you very much for your explanation. Correct me if I got the understanding wrong ji.Thus bhakti is not only pure love but one should know the nature of the love shown to mother by not following blind faith. Ji, certain rituals we do follow without much explanation. How do we find out whether it is the right thing to do. For example in Malaysia during a festival called Thaipusam devotees out of love pierce their bodies with needle like hooks or 5 or 6 each long thrisul through their mouth. They say that that is love, bhakti to god. How do we know that that is bhakti? I cannot wait for the next verseji. Verse 4 yathlabdhvaa puumaanh siddha bhavati amrito bhavati tripto bhavati Ji, I shall ask srihr_am ji for the proper puja for me to practise. Thank you very much ji Children of Kali
Guest guest
Namaste Nurcarnation, Ok of we go to Verse 4 Yallabdhva puman siddho bhavathi, amrto bhavathi trpto bhavathi Yat(which) labdhva (by the attainment) puman (the devotion) siddha (perfection ) bhavathi (gained) amrta (immortality) bhavathi (gained) trptah(satisfaction ) bhavathi(gained) By attainment of this devotion (bhakthi) he attains perfection, immortality and satisfaction. What this actually means is by attaining this devotion the aspirant attains perfection, immortality and satisfaction. Certainly this word could not be construed in literal sense. Perfection here means attainment of the highest ideal ( to be one with the deity worshipped – Tat tvam Asi -You are That) and not some magical achievement as some might have misconstrued. The highest attainment bhakthi marga (path) is complete manifestation of divinity .The atma become identified with the absolute Saguna Brahman (the deity worshipped) and merges with it losing the individuality it once possessed. In simple words you become one with God. That is why Bhagawan Ramakrishna says Ramakrishna is not here anymore (showing his body) only Kali exist now …………….. This realization establishes one in state beyond the attachment of bodily conscious into divine consciousness thus the word immortality does not mean the perseverance of the mortal body beyond the necessity of death but it means the realization that transcend death itself . The fear of death or attachment to body disappears as the devotee is in spiritual level have realized his relationship with deity is and have always been there and will always be there and now living and acting in the spiritual plane rather than material plane his pure spirit which now abides in its true nature could not be affected by changes of body that occurs in material plane. Satisfaction here means self-contentment which means the devotee does not feel he need or receive any thing anymore. Having established himself in his true nature he realize everything has it’s source from the Divine Mother and everything is happening in proper sequence eventhough sometime it looks like chaos to the ordinary mortal being. Seeing the Lord’s hand in everything that takes place ( even the wind that is blowing)he realize he is merely one of the character in Her Divine play. He is contented as in this state he is free from all desiresthus total surrender is there When we see man of God, what do we find in him ? That he is perfect , that he is immortal and that he is always satisfied . This is the nature of true lover of God instead of those concern with spiritual powers temporary material satisfaction and fulfillment of thousand desires which would not bring the real happiness. Thus if this is not the end product that the devotee see himself having an opportunity of achieving then I am afraid some soul searching is neccesary Remember one more thing . These three things are gained but not achieved .What this means is this is not something that the devotee seeks but by Her grace this is given onto him. All the time the aspirant mind is fully fixed in his beloved deity . He only remembers his love for Her but these thing comes unsolicited If it is fine with you we will move to the next verse……….. Guest guest
Namaste ji, It was an excellent explanation ji. Ji, correct me if I am wrong, When a Bhakta and Bhagavati become one through the communion of Bhakti, contentment automatically become manifest. I have nothing much to say JI, as only tears of happiness rolls down. It is so great to read and understand the sutra. I don't know how am I going to thank you ji. Ji, in Malaysia they practice mediums (man/woman in trance) ie. they say God is within them and words said by them are Gods words. Ji, how would you explain this in accordance to the sutra. Have they realized tat tvam asi. Lets work fast on our next verse ji Verse 5 Yat prapya na kincid vanchati na socati na dvesti na ramate notsahi bhavati. Thank you ji. Guest guest
Namaste Nurcarnation, It was an excellent explanation ji. Ji, correct me if I am wrong, When a Bhakta and Bhagavati become one through the communion of Bhakti, contentment automatically become manifest. An excellent understanding as well. This represents the highest vedantic truth that you and the Brahman are one and having achieved that there is nothing to be achieved anymore ………… I have nothing much to say JI, as only tears of happiness rolls down. It is so great to read and understand the sutra. I don't know how am I going to thank you ji. All is possible by Her grace alone, you are reaping the fruit of your love for Her .I am merely the instrument on Her hands . She is the player thank Her with the tears in your heart Ji, in Malaysia they practice mediums (man/woman in trance) ie. they say God is within them and words said by them are Gods words. Ji, how would you explain this in accordance to the sutra. Have they realized tat tvam asi. No they have not. Establishment in Brahman would nullify the need to desire anything including the disability to impart the experience through any 5 sense as this state can only be understood by experiencing. As such those established in Brahman would not be able to call themselves GOD or any other definition that will resemble any limited aspect of divinity, as any attempt made would only limit the unlimited by the limited 5 senses. Secondly the trance like stated of medium is not the same with bhava state of the perfected sage. He would be in state of samadhi and only our physical eyes could see the body is established in state of stillness. Once the youths who gathered around Bhagawan Ramakrishna asked him to explain the highest state of mahabhava samadhi and Bhagawan tried to fulfill their desires by explaining each chakra ,the Mother Kundalini travelling upwards but when he come to the neck he lost consciousness and after few attempts discarded the thought as this was not possible to be done. It is like limiting the unlimited in a limited compartment thus what you see will only be the limited by the compartment and not the true unlimited. To see this you got to experience it yourself. Once Narendra Nath ( Swami Vivekananda) implored Bhagawan to talk to Mother Kali on his behalf for a request for which Bhagawan chided him to ask Her himself . A true teacher would not waste his time playing God even if he is one (Lord Krishna with Arjuna) as the teaching to reach the Ultimate Goal would be his only aim. And if God wants to say something to you he does not need a medium to do it. And certainly he do not need you to give something in return for him to do you a favour . There is no scriptural reference to these practices anywhere in Hindu scriptures. Furthermore there is no acid test anywhere to know whether a medium is true or not and the trance like state is merely a façade or not thus I do not see them necessary for spiritual evolvement I would rather read the scriptures Lets work fast on our next verse ji As you wish . How fast would be fast enough for you ? Children of Kali Jai Maa!!!Help STOP SPAM with the new MSN 8 and get 2 months FREE*
