Guest guest
We are the Old Religion, predating alphabets and such...we left our art in caves...in Latin the word for people who lived outside of cities was "pagani"...which in English is shortened to "pagan". The pagani, in the seldom visited countrysides, were little influenced by State Religions....and preferred to listen to the change of seasons rather than the latest edict from officialdom... ....we remain in conflict with organized religion to this day...we prefer trees to dogmas....s Kali_Ma, Sri Ram <srihra_m> wrote: > > Maa Khali > > May I ask what is Pagans and Wiccans? > > > > --- ruchirananda <tulasi3@w...> wrote: > > Merry Meet! > > > > I would like to be in contact with devotees of Kali > > that are > > following an Earth-based Religion. > > I am a Solitary Neo-Pagan in the priesthood training > > (of Kali > > Ma/Sekhmet-the Egyptian "Kali" lion-headed Goddess) > > with The > > Fellowship of Isis and the Correlian Nativist Wiccan > > trad. > > Om Kreem, > > > > Varuna > > > > > > > > > Mail Plus - Powerful. Guest guest
Namaste! I consider myself a Hindu kitchen gypsy witch. My husband gave me the title. Then I did some reading and figured I was more like the odyias described in Kali's Odyia. Which is a wonderful book if you have not read it. Our house is a mixture of faiths. My husband is part Native American and practices South American Shamanism, my oldest teen daughter has fallen in love with Sekmhet and has filled her room with drawings of her. We will be celebrating both Pancha Ganapathi and Winter Solistice this month and blending our traditions together to make a season filled with magic. Om Shanti, Surrdha Mom to 5 CT
Guest guest
Whatever text contains the ring of truth. They listen for themselves. This religion occurs before alphabets, before writing...and scriptual texts are regarded as echoes of its insights, some clarifying, some not... Guest guest
I don't think they much care...just so you stay in touch.... Do you, as a traditionalist, sense an identity between Kali and the Crone? s Kali_Ma, "Doinesidhe \(Mark\)" <doinesidhe13> wrote: > > Yes, I am a Traditionalist Wiccan, 3*. > I am also a strong devotee of Kali; however, I keep the two "systems" separate.
