"tiruppavai" celebrations in Secunderabad. It must have been a wonderful

opportunity to participate in these celebrations. We would be interested in

Effect of obsequies

 

May I request Swamiji to clear my doubts on the

following

I find that many are not performing the Shraadha

karmas for the deceased parents or relatives for their

own reasons. What would be the effect on the souls of

such deceased persons. As per shastras, by non

performance of such obsequies, the atmas would not get

any help to complete their eternal journeys and return

for rebirth. Further in view of the intercaste and

interreligious marriages what impact does this have?

I will be much obliged if someone else learned in this

field also throw some light on this issue?

The Ramanuja Mission has risen twenty five years ago, it has

advanced with small foot steps, and now has taken big stride making

a high and long jump nationwide and propagating it's roots

internationally (U.S.A , U.K and Switzerland). Today it is

celebrating the 25th anniversary under our beloved well known young

spiritual leader Sri Sri Sri Thridandi Srimannarayana Chinna Jeeyar

Swamiji .

 

"Thiruppavai" means the garland of thirty hymns in which Smt. Andal

expressed her immense love to Lord SriKrishna. It is a universal

gospel but, and it is clothed in the most ancient Tamil language

which is beyond the reach to all those who do not know Tamil.

 

At the request of the Telugu people Sri Sri Sri Thridandi

Srimannarayana Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji has permitted their publication

in Andhra Prabha. These hymns are molded together and formed into a

book "Thiruppavai". People in thousands heard Sri Swamji one hymn a

day in his distinct style and repeated after him which made the

Agrasen Bhavan, Gymkhana Grounds a holi Gokulavanam.

 

Me and my wife had the divine opportunity to take part in some of the

days where people showed up in thousands to Participate in day to day

holy schedule for 30 days:
