Guest guest
Priya SRiman kumar dampathulu! Jai Srimannarayana! Long ago, you have asked to know the meaning of the manthra 'Na:ra:yana'/ Here it is: There are a few parts in that manthra. 'Ra' means 'the objects that are perishable' 'na' is a negitive word. 'nara' is the one which is imperishable. When ther are somany in a group like that, it is called 'nara:s' When there are different varieties of things like that which are imperishable, and so many groups of groups like that the word to say them formed as 'Na:ras'. All the objects, whether they are seen or unseen, are impersishable by their 'original nature'. You may question that all the objects are perishable in this world. But the answer is 'not'. Because, all that you are seeing only the changing shapes and names and purposes of the same 'matter', 'Pancha Bhu:thas'. One day you see the tree and the other it is cut and tree is gone, people say so. But it is changed it's form, like fire wood. They they were burnt and people say tht the fire-wood has gone. But it turned as coal, smoke and ashes etc., When the coal is also burnt then the smoke and ashes will remain/ Look at anything, including the human body, it is the same story every where. So the Matter will always by remaining intact. Only the shape changed in different forms and people liked it. As there are three realities, `1.The Nature, 2.God and 3. the Soals. Amonth these 3, the Nature is changeable in her forms and qualities. The form of the Souls is not at all changeable. Yet, their attitudes ie., qualities will keep changing while in Prakruthi, due the karma attachment. Whereas God, is not affected by Karma and hence He is not changeable by His Divine Form Or Qualities. Ultimately all the three realities are permanent by their nature, so they are called 'naras'. Each of these things in the Nature in the form of different species and somany in each of the groups and even that number of species is also innumerable, so also so, the Ji:vas. That is why, we call them as 'na:ra:s'. A support is called 'ayana' in Sanskrit. All these are supported by one supreme power, which, no one has seen so far. Where it stays? It dwells all over these objects and also in all these subjects. So it is called 'ayana' to all these 'na:ra:s'. That is how the name "Na:ra:yana" formed by the ve:das. Of course, there is a lot more to be known in this context, yet, we are sure you understood the meaning superficially, to some extent. =chinnajeeyar= Terrorist Attacks on U.S. - How can you help?
