JETUSATLHVT monthly meet (Sri Vishnu Sahasranama Parayanam)

Dear Friends,

JETUSATLHVT took birth at Tallahassee when Sri Swamiji

first came here, and meet every month on last Saturday of each month.

 

All the JETUSATLHVT (VIKASATHARANGINI OF TALLAHASSEE)

members met on 09/29/01 at 6:00 P.M. in Rajkumar & Geetha' s house.

We are very happy to see that the devotees were very high in number.

By the grace of Lord Sri Maha Vishnu and with blessings of our great

spritual leader Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji our group has risen to 57,

ie. 57 family members.

 

We observed a moment of silence, and prayed for the victims, and

departed souls of 9/11/01 disaster in U.S.A. We prayed the Supreme

Lord to give us and the nation the wisdom, strength and the knowledge

so that we can get through this disaster.

 

In the board meeting which took place on TELE BRIDGE at around 12:00

on 9/29/01 after Sri Swamiji's speech, Swamiji announced $10000 to

WTC disaster releif(RED CROSS).

 

As you all know our nation is in crisis and we need to support the

nation any we could, such as by contributing money, doing social

work, and by donating blood. Please come forward and support this

noble cause. Write checks payable to "JETUSA" notifying at the

memo "FOR WTC DISASTER RELEIF". "JETUSA" is a non profit

organisation founded by Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji and "JETUSATLHVT"

is a local unit of Tallahassee of "JETUSA". You will get receipt back

for the contribution you make.

 

Next, we all meet in Deendayalan & Shanti's house on 10/27/01. You

are all invited to participate in the Parayanam. Deendayalan & Shanti

the host will also try to reach you over the phone and give the

proper directions to their house. We would like to meet at 10:00 AM

at

Deena & Shanti's house and finish the Parayanam by 11:00 and listen

to the tele-upanyasam on Upanisads by Sri Swamiji which is also every

Last Saturday of the month at 11:00 AM EST. which is going on for

several months. In India also we used to go to temples on Saturdays

to offer our prayers to God. So let us try this time by shifting the

time and see how it goes.

The Parayanam will begin sharply on time ie 10:00 AM. We encourage

all the participants to come little earlier so that the Parayanam

could start and end in a timely fashion.
