Please accecpt my humble pranams. I learned from the

elders that the scriputre said " ganga dau dakshine

karnay, naasikaagrey hutasana". For a brahmana who

performs sandhyavandana properly, the lord of fire

(agni) resides on nose, and sacred water(ganga devi)

on right ear. so,when a person performs an act of

impurity(dosha), if he touches the nose, and then the

right ear with the right hand fingers he is said to be
