SOME MORE ON PARATATVAM AND OUR RESPONSIBILITY

Encouraged by the mangalasasanams of our beloved Acharya Priya Sri Sri

Sri Jeeyar Swamiji I am adding some more points on the same. Errors and

ommisions are attributed to me alone and any appreciation of the matter

is the Sanskara Bhiksha of our beloved Acharya only

 

1. Though all agree with the Trinity philosophy of Paramatma that

is, He is doing the Creation, Sustenance and Annihilation in the three

respective forms, still there is an immense need to be totally attached

to the form in which He is doing the Sustenance. Because only during

His influence of Sustenance form (In the form of Lord Vishnu) we are

enabled to do something to get free from the Cycle of Births(Creation

form) and Deaths(Annihilation Form). That is, attachment to Sustenance

form is the most crucial to escape Births and Deaths.

2. Thus though Paramatma is doing numerous activities in numerous

forms, He will certainly like, if we recognize Him as a form which

covers all His activities, His omnipotence and His Omnisience and for

that our Azhwars. Acharyas and all the saints of the past and the

present refer as Sri Laxmi Narayana.

 

This can be best understood by the only-one powerful relationship

that lasts long (in general atleast in India) among all people i.e.

wife-husband relationship. Though a wife does so many things to her

husband like sweeping of the house, utensil wash, cloth wash, cooking,

child rearing etc she can never tolerate her to recognize her as a

sweeper/servant/cook/child-machine. She would like to be called nothing

less than a WIFE and no other person though doing one of the above

activities can be called wife.

 

Similarly though a husband does so many things like bringing

money/items/food to home, doing the driving, keeping a watch of home

etc he never likes to be called a servant, driver, watchman etc. He

never likes any other word than a Husband. Though others do a part of

the above works, they cannot be called Husband.

 

There is nothing wrong if a WIFE declares that her Husband is the whole

and sole of her life and any body else whatever great he may be he is no

body to her. Similarly there is nothing wrong when a husband declares

that his wife is the whole and sole of his life and nobody else can be

given that status though they do part of the activities of his wife.

This is appreciated by one and all regarding Good wife or Good

Husband. Only in such situation family will be a success. That is the

only and the only reason for a successful married life in India or

anywhere in the world.

 

Similarly for a successful relationship with Paramatma that One-to-One

true to the core relationship is a MUST and there lies the PARATATVAM

OF SRI LAXMI NARAYANA. This is very very explicitly mentioned in

Srimad Bhagawadgita by Lord Krishna (in the name of Bhagawanuvacha...)

at so many places using the following terms without any compromise or

ambiguity

 

....Maamayva.......Maamaykam.........Madarpanam.....
