PARATATVA OF SRIMAN NARAYANA

My name is Srikant.I have completed my B.Tech.I stay

at visakhapatnam,india.I would like to contribute a

few points regarding PARA TATVA OF SRIMANNARAYANA.I

request to be forgiven for my mistakes.

 

1.Sage Vyasa's deciples were confused with the 18

puranas as who is the supreme.So they approached their

guru,who was bathing in the Ganga.He came to know

about their doubt and said," I swear by this holy

water,there is no mantra powerfull than Ashtakshari

nor is their a deity greater than Lord Keshava."This

is the veiw of the sage who has done the division of

vedas,authored the Bramhasutras.

 

2.In the MahaBharatha in Santhi parva it is said :

 

MAHADEVAS SARVAMEDHE MAHATMA

HUTVA ATMANAM DEVADEVO BABHUVA.

(Mahadeva offered himself as on oblation in the

sacrifice sarvamedha and attained the position)

 

 

In the same epic in kundadharopakhyanam:

 

YUGAKOTI SAHASRAM VISNUM ARADHYA PADMABHUH

PUNAS TRAILOKA DHATVAM PRAPTAVAN ITI SUSRUMA

(Bramha worshipped vishnu for thousands of crores of

yugas to attain the position of the creator)

 

so, both siva and bramha attained their glory only by

the blessings of the lord vishnu.

 

3.The NArayana upanishad says; NARAYANA RUDRO JAYATE

......... NARAYANA INDRO JAYATE............... NARAYANA

BRAMHO JAYATE. WHICH says that indra, bramha, rudra

all are born out of narayana.

 

4. Purusha suktham describes the PRUSHA or the supreme

Lord as The Lord of Lakshmi, "HRISH CHA SRI SHCHA

PATNAU..."
