Thereare somany slo:kas say that all the creatures are equal. Yet, we are

mentioning one slo:ka, taken from Prahla:da and Hiranyakasipu discussion. When

father asked the son to explain as how to deal with friends and foes. Prahla:da

replied to his father's question. First he said that the question is irrelevant,

for there are no such catagories in God's creation. All are equal with relation

to God. The slo:ka goes like this:-

 

" Sarva Bhu:tha:tmake: tha:tha! Jaganna:dhe: Jaganmaye: |

Parama:tmani go:vinde: Mithra:mithra kattha: kuthaha ||

 

Tha:tha = O Dad!

Sarvabhu:thatmake: = God is indweller of all the creatures,

Jaganna:dhe: = He is the owner of all this Universe,

Jaganmaye: = God is inseperable from all these beings,

parama:thmani = He is the inner most controller of all beings

go:vinde: = He is so accessable to the words of illiterate beings like

us, Hence,

kuthaha = where is the possibility of

mithra+amithra katha: = saying one as freind and calling the other as enemy.

 

The result is all are relatives and equal in His creation.
