Guest guest
Priya Sriman Ramlalji! Jai Srimannarayana! Lord Siva is called Mruthyunjaya, who had control over death. But not who defeated Mruthyu. Every soul, whoever born in this Universe, is prone to death. There is no exemption even to Lord Siva or to His Divine Father, the Four headed Brahma. But all that matters is "the time". Somebody goes early, and some others go a little late. As in the world, musquitos live for one day only. Some small birds live for a few seasons. But birds like Garuda etc., live for a long time. All should go at one time or the other. So also with De:vathas. They live longer than human beings. Even among de:vathas, ordinary de:vathas live shorter than superior de:vathas like Indra. His life is shorter than Bruhaspathi. That one has shorter life than of Lord Siva and Brahma etc. It seems, according to pura:na:s, Lord Yama Dharmara:ja is the only one, who lives longer than all these de:vathas. Even the four headed Brahma is scared of Yama. Bhagavadgitha makes it very clear. As Lord Siva lives longer than somany devathas, He is called Mruthyunjaya. =chinnajeeyar= --- chramlal wrote: > jai srimannarayana > > swamiji it is said that lord shiva > is mritunjaya, does he enjoy the > victory over death for all the four > yugas. if that is the case why is > he not drinking the poison which he > stored in the neck[neelakanta as he > is known] does he fear the death if > swallowed, > > please forgive me if there is > anything wrong in my question. > > jai srimannarayana > ramlal > > ramlal chandraganti > > > > > Greetings - send holiday greetings for Easter, Passover http://greetings./
