Guest guest
Asmad Guru Bhyo Namaha: Sri Mathe Ramanujaya Namaha: Jai SreemanNarayana... The following differences are noticed between the version of Gayatri Ramayana slokas sung by Dr.M.Balamurali Krishna (audio cassette released by Oriental Records Inc; Newyork) and the telugu printed version in the "Sreepati Stutimala". 1. Sloka 7... Nirikshya sa muhurtam... is heard as " su muhurtam" while it is mentioned in the book as "sa muhurtam". Which one is correct and why. 2.Sloka.12... Vandyaaste tu tapah: siddhaah "taapasaa" is heard from the cassette while in the book it is mentioned as "tapasaa" and not as "taapasaa". 3. Sloka 13... Sa nirjitya purim.... The last word of this sloka is sung as " kapisattamah:" while in the book it is mentioned as " maarutaatmajah:" 4. Sloka 16... Hitam mahaartham....is sung as "mruduhetusamhitam" while it is mentioned in the book as " mrudupoorvasamhitam" Request for a kind clarification as to which of the above are correct and is there any danger if we recite from the wrong version. Guest guest
Priya Sriman Yekkirala! Jai Srimannarayana! In Ramayana there are pattha Bhe:da:s to South Indian Books and North Indian Books of Ramayana. Though the meaning is not changed but the words are changed. Somebody might have changed them. OUr way of presenting the slo:kas is according to the Old versions i.e, even the commenteries presented by the Acharyas belonging to 13 & 15 centuries quoted the slokas according to our book only. It means we have taken from those acharyas' version. You can take which ever is available, for the meaning of both is correct. but our version has an authority from our ancestors. =chinnajeeyar=
