Launching of Gita Jyothi in New Jersey / New York

With the blessings of our beloved Acharya, Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyar

Swamiiji, JET New Jersey/New York successfully launched the Gita Jyothi

program on Ugadi day.  About 40 people assembled at Aparajitha.  We

collectively chanted Sri Vishnu Sahasranama stotram and introduced the

Githa Jyothi program with Sri Swamiji's message.  The list of Slokas for

each week and the personality development charts were distributed to the

devotees.  We chanted the first four slokams from the list (since we

meet once a month).  Sri Seshagiri explained the meanings and the

essence of the four slokams.  We are also contacting many people who

could not meet on Ugadi day.  There is lot of enthusiasm and we expect

many people to participate and benefit from Gita Jyothi.  The evening

was concluded with another chanting of Sri Vishnu Sahasranama stotram

and ha:rathi to Lord Srimannarayana.  Everybody enjoyed the sumptuous

prasadam made by the devotees. 

 

Vijaya and I personally thank everybody who actively partcipated,

prepared food and helped in all aspects of the program.
