The Lesson taught by an Ocean ( A translation of ‘Geetho:padesa’ by Sri Sri

Sri T.K.Gopalacharyaswami varu )

- Geetha 2nd chap. 80 sloka

I am always filled with water. Numerous streams

and rivers keep flowing into me continuously. I

never have a desire for the rivers or streams

that merge into me. Even if they do, I do not

flinch. I don't allow my taste, color or size to

be affected by this. They just become one with

me and my Self.

Did you observe my behaviour and characteristics?

I don't have any dearth of peace. If you would

like to mimmick my behaviour,

- Be filled with happiness of Athma anubhava

- Don't crave for materialistic pleasures

- Even if the desires come to you on their own,

do not change your path

- Allow the desires to meld and merge into your

identity and self

- Don't change your character or behaviour - Why

would you ever have any dearth of peace ?

So, dear devotees, be like an ocean and enjoy

His bliss continuously.
