With the divine blessings of our beloved Acharya , this is a humble

attempt to present Sriman U.V . Sri SriBhashyam Appalacharya swamy's Telugu

vyakhya:nam to MUKUNDAMA:LA .

Om Asmad Gurubhyo Namah!

Sree Hayagriva parabhramhane namah!

Sreemathe: Ramanujaya namah!

Sloka:

ghushyathe: yasyanagare:

rangayathra: dine:dine:

tha maham sirasa: vande:

ra:ja:nam kulase:kharam.

Meaning:

yasya =That Kulasekhara's

nagare: = in that city

dine:dine: = everyday

rangayathra: = travel to Sri Rangam

ghushyathe: = announced (olden days they used to go

aroundthe streets with a trumpet making loud announcements)

tham = that

raja:na:m = king

kulase:kharam = to Kulasekara

sirasa: vande: = I'm prostrating

Thathparyam:

King Kulasekhara , one of the 12 alwars, used to announce his journey to

SriRangam to offer prayers along with all the devotees everyday. But

the travel plans were not fruitful and each day ended only with the

announcements of travel made with the singing of the divine qualities

immersed in deep devotion. To such 'bhakthakulasekara ' -- who is always

immersed in experiencing Lord Ranganatha's kalyana gunas --- King

Kulasekara, I prostrate!!!

(Visesha:Artham follows)
