Guest guest
Srimathe: Ramanujaya Namaha ! Sri Jeeyar Tiruvadigale: Saranam !! One should primarily cultivate the nature to view everything in this world equally ( sarva samathvam ). Unless one realizes the fact that Lord dwells in every being as 'a:thma', this realization is impossible. This entire universe is Bhagavan's Divine Body - as one would not love one part of his body and hate another, one attains the mentality to love everything in this visible universe 'equally'. When one realizes that all the a:thma:s in all the bodies are 'entities of knowledge' and hence are equal, one would surely be able to view ALL with 'sarva samathvam' (equally), irrespective of the colour ,caste or creed of the body. A human being should be like this. Bhagavan is 'Sarvasama'. The Lord says in Githa : "name: dve:sho:sthina priyaha". We drift away from surrendering to His lotus feet out of hatred or indifference but the Lord's nature is to rescue anyone who surrenders to Him. Bhagavan has 'si:lam'. Srirama considered a crow, an eagle, a villager, a tribal, a va:nara and a ra:kshasa equally and protected them. So a human being should cultivate Bhagavan's quality of 'sarva samathvam'. SriRama's presence was always lovable and likeable to all. Srirama was loved by the illiterate and the learned, by men and women, by trees, animals and by the rivers solely and all the time. This is Bhagavan's attribute too. Men should cultivate this quality. Bhagavan is a 'suddha sathva swaru:pa' with out being polluted by 'rajas' and 'thamas' and hence gives only 'a:nanda' to the ones that look at him and never gives unhappiness, grief or passion. Thus Bhagavan descended as 'nara' and taught us the right qualities and the right practice. For Valmiki's question,"Who is that Bhagavan who has come as nara'?" Narada answers, "Srirama is the one 'with all the qualities'. Hence no one can quantify the qualities He possesses". A hunter who is shooting arrows into the sky has to stop when all his arrows in the quiver are exhausted - he can never claim that he ran out of space in the sky. Likewise, people who attempt to describe His Kalya:na 'guna:s' cannot proceed beyond a point due to their inability to comprehend but NOT because they have exhausted all His guna:s. In this world every guna has a unique attribute associated with it . SriRama has all such guna:s in Him. To be continued .... JaiSreemannarayana! Ramanujamma Mudumbai Ramanuja Dasi.
