Jai Sriman Narayana! > Thu, 23 May 2002 06:34:49 -0000 > "vasavin_2000" >Athma, Brahman,Karma......basic doubts... >JIVATMA: >My question is during the time of the Universe >creation, how did these physical forms happen for the >first jivatmas to enter??? My conception is that when the Jivatham came from the Nithya Vibhoothi, while crossing the Viraja River, it was given a sukshma sarira (jest like we are given a jacket to wear when we enter (the boat or) the tunnel in the Niagra Falls to view the Falls). Once the Atma entered the Leela Vibhuthi (long time ago; time immemorial) the Athma has been in the game of Karma accumulating mountains of Karma. The Jeevathma is given bodies based on the karma. Remember that in the Leela Vibhoothis, the Jeevathma already has the sukshma sarira. The suksma sarira is there until we cross the Viraja river. We get rid of the sukshama sariara in the Viraja river and enter Vaikunta. The process of Moksham is granted only and only by Sriman narayana. The process of ascending to Moksham is described by Pillalokachari in his works on ARCHARADHI. Now, the process of descent to the earth and to the womb is described in Dahara Vidya. The athma comes along with the solar dust or some other stellar particles. In the sky, it gets attached to the rain particle and enters the ground. From the soil, it gets into the plant and the plant/the seed containing the Athma is eventually eaten by the individual (man), and from the man eventually gets into the woman. >Also, as jivatmas are never created or lost, does that >mean the count of species population is always the >same, for e.g in this universe??e.g..human population >increases and the decrease in the fish species.. Consider the leela vibhoothis is like a reservoir. If you take few drops or even buckets of water, does it deplete? Can we count the number of drops in an ocen or a reservoir. Therefore, let us not try to count the number of Athmas. However, my own conviction is that Jeevathmas also keep entering the Leela Vibhoothi, and some are leaving the Leela Vibhoothi for the Nithya Vibhoothi. It said in all our scriptures that once the jeevathma enters the Nithya Vibhoothi, it never comes back. Yes, ther is no punarjanma because we enter the Nithya Vibhoothi. It is my personal conviction that there are some athmas in the Nithya Vibhoothi who have not visted the Leela Vibhoothi. want to visit the amusement of Leela Vibhoothi. My feeling is that the traffic is bothways. >BRAHMAN: -------- >Does our consciousness always existed with the jivatma >or due to the presence of Brahman along with >jivatma??? I think the Budhi and Manas travel with us till we have punarjanma and after. Only for the person, who is granted Moksham, the person leaves the mind and bhudhi after leaving the gross body. >KARMA: ------ >If the creation and caessation of body, the migration >of the souls according to our karma, the liberation of >souls, all these happen as a process , why do our >ancestors say that Demi-God Brahma is the >Creator and has already defined our FATE/DESTINY??? >Why do we need Shiva for destruction, if only >realisation can result in the release of souls.... Lord Sriman Narayana is the one who gives the fruits of the Karma (He can destroy the karma also). Since the karma can not be consumed in one janma, He instructed brahma to group karmas into various groups and create bodies accordingly. Therefore, Brahma writes our fate program (karma to be enjoyed in this janma) on our forehead. The task is not easy since he has to make complex programming to accomdodate evry one's karma in a contemarary group. Actually, Lord Sriman Narayan has instructed Brahma regarding the complex process. >Thx and Regards, >Vasavi. I don't know if I have answered adequately. I have only very littel knowledge and wanted to express my ignorance. Perhaps, some one with knowledge can better explain. Meanwhile, please do not be discoraged to ask questions. Together, we can reach better understanding through questioning and discussion. Tyhe Upanishads are full of questions and answers. Jai Sriman Narayana With All Glories to Lord Sriman Narayan!
