Sri parasara bhattar

Jai Sriman Narayana,

 

On the occasion of our beloved Sri Parasara Bhattar's

Tirunakshatram, I am adding one more incident which

comes to my memory. ( I am not sure of this ).

 

When Sri Parasara Bhattar was a 5 year old boy, one

great scholar made a visit to SriRangam. It seems he

had defeated lot of contemporaries on his way to

SriRangam. When he was passing through one of the

streets, Sri Parasara Bhattar came to him, with sand

filled in his little hands. He questioned the scholar

- "Sir, Can you tell me - how many sand particles are

there in my closed hand, now", which humbled the great

scholar.

 

{Pardon me if this is not a correct description.}

 

Unfortunately, we know very less abt some of the great

aacharyas and it would be really nice if we get to

know more about their life. However, their works

reflect their experiences / thoughts and act as

indicators towards their highly exemplary lives.
