Guest guest
Sri RAmajayam SrimathE GOpAla DEsikA MahA DEsikAya Namaha Dear BhagavathAs, Paramahamsa Parivrajakacharya His Holiness Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Srimannarayana Ramanuja Chinna Jeeyar Swami and many BhagvathAs like Dhruba have already stated "Vaidhika" point of views on VEdas. AdiyEn summarizes below for the purpose of providing the complete picture on this topic, Those who believe in "Vaidhika Dharma"(or VEdas) believe it as ApourushEyas. VEdas like Atma is indestructible and AnAthi(primal without origin). This means there is no creator. So if we put it this way, the soul (realized) is also primal like AporushEyas. So this way VEdas serve as the bridge between us(JeevAtma) and the Supreme(ParamAtma) and is called UbhAyam(way, help etc). Knowing the VEdas(Memorizing, Understanding, Following, Preaching, Realizing) help us know the Tattva(Chit-Achit-Iswaran), Hitha(SaranAgathi), PurushArtas(Nitya Kaimkaryam or MOksham or Eternal bliss) and achieve the same. Else one has to atleast seek the feet of such a realized soul(Acharya) and follow his order to achieve the same. Now the question is how come Rishis rendered it. Simply put it, Rishis have achieved SAdhana with DhyAnam, with the help of ParamAtma and preached this knowledge for the welfare of humanity and it is not thought by them. Time and again humanity/DEvas lose this knowledge and lack the SAdhana to know the way out of suffering. In some cases their learning gets stolen by AsurAs(Madhu, Kaidhaban) too. So humanity is left to suffer, that they know no other way than to seek Sriman NArAyana's mercy. By his mercy Sriman NArAyana acted as an Acharya to propagate the VEdas and explain its meaning(HayagrIva). This is one of the foremost help God has rendered us. Repeatedly he had made AvatAras to show us the Vaidhika SampradAyam or to restore Dharma(Vaidhikam). By his limitless mercy he/Nityasuris appear again and again to save humanity from the suffering of SamsAra. To this date we have Sri Vaishnava AcharyAs who propagate our Parama Vaidhika Matham(VisistAdvaitam or Sri Vaishnavam) and they are to be treated as God himself! AdiyEn hope the text above summarizes the complete understanding on this topic, if not AdiyEn sincerely believes BhagavathAs should seek the feet of Sri Vaishnava Acharya and undergo Grantha KAlakshEpam the traditional way(Sri Bhashyam, VEdarthA Sangraham, Srimad Rahasya Traya SAram and Bhagvad Vishayam). Guest guest
Sri: SriRAmaJayam SrimatE RAmAnujAya Nama: Dear Sudarshana, Your article is nice to read. But one thing you should remember that people are at different level of thinking. You have to come to the reader's level. Lord Himself preached BG. Is everyone an expert in BG? Likewise "vEdAs are ApouruSEya" is said by many before. You can't stop the people questioning that statement. They want to know the truth behind it and it's not that easy to convince the reader that vEdAs are authorless. The reader doesn't have formal training in vEdAs. Without giving examples nobody will accept things. BhagawAn Himself proved that HE will do anything for His devotees(in RAmAvatAr and KriSNAvatAr). We worship HIm(as much as possible)b'coz HE has promised that HE will protect us. If Bhagavad RAmAnujA had not questioned YAdavaprakAsA, there would not have been "SriVisistAdvaitam". Likewise you will see many who question certain things. That is the nature of mind. Every reader puts forth his/her questions (based on their experiences in life) to Sri Jeeyar Swami and HH out of his saulabhyam and extreme compassion towards us, answers all paragraph by paragraph, to our understanding, inspite of extremely busy schedule. Yes as you said we have to treat AchAryAs as God because they are the ones who give us the knowledge of the God and also show the way to reach God. But noneof the pUrvAchAryAs claimed that they themselves are SrimanNArAyaNA! AzhwAr EmperumAnAr Jeeyar TiruvadigaLE saraNam gita
Guest guest
Priya Sriman dhruba ! Jai Srimannarayana ! Vedas are at first REVEALED, by Lord only. Chathurmukha Bramha is His first disciple. >From chathurmukha Bramha to others and so on. He can teach them to others too !! However, it is Lord who teaches them first. He reveals doesn't mean he authored right ? It is not that God is also the Primary Teacher of Vedas but, He is the First Teacher who reveals Vedas. He teaches the Vast Vedic Mass to Bramha. Later on it comes to his disciples and so on. Even great Rishis, as a result of meditation for thousands of years, when they experienced the Truths of Universe, it is by the grace of Lord they revealed a little of the rich, explicit, boundless, Divine experience, that came out in the form of Divine sounds, the Manthras. Jai Srimannarayana ! =chinnajeeyar= > dchakrav wrote: Jai Ramji Ki! > Respected Swamiji and Devotees: > I wanted you to comment on what I have > learnt about this issue. > As I understand, the Vedas have not > been authored by God in the form that > we find the Vedas (except perhaps small > sections of it, for example the Devisuuktam). > But since the Vedas contain almost > exclusively revealed knowledge, it has to > come from God.
