Guest guest
Sri RAmajayam SrimathE GOpAla DEsika MahA DEsikAya Namaha Dear Smt.Gita, You are right. The right way to cultivate understanding is to clarify the doubts, and strengthen our knowledge, so that we can have faith with conviction and practice. BTW, as AdiyEn mentioned in the opening statement, Adiyen summarized the series of mails for a complete view on the topic. In relation to your comment, "none of the Acharyas have said they are Sriman NArAyana", you are right, even Chakravarty Thirumagan (Sri RAman) as an Avatara Purusha never proclaimed he is God. His Godliness is revealed in his practice of Vaidhika Dharma. It is a matter of how much you view your Guru's MahA UpakAram. "Gurur Brahma, Gurur Vishnu....Guru Sakshath Parabrahma, tasmai sri GuravE namaha". So AdiyEn would even go one step further and mention that an Acharya has to be treated with even more respect than even Sriman NArAyana himself, as without whom we are lost in darkness (the word Guru is made of Ku+Ru, and literally means darkness & remover). And we treat them as God in human form coming to help us. Also if one undergoes Pancha SamskAram and listens at the feet of an AcharyA, this kind of knowledge can occur, and I am not sure RahasyAs can be easily explained over an email forum with Q&A, unless they are basic details to forge inclination towards Sri Vaishnavam. AdiyEn would stand corrected with what HH Sri Jeeyar would say, as AdiyEn am the least qualified for such an authoritative statement. The feet of an AcharyA is even holier than that of God himself. Intriguing?? Yes, but true. The Lord in Thrivikrama AvatAram stretched his leg and Chaturmuka Brahma saw the feet of the Lord and performed ArAdhanam. The water from the Lord's feet was seen falling on Earth by Rudran, to be quickly held on his head and this is how he became Sivam(pure). That water is Ganges, which billions have bathed to absolve their sins. However even this water cannot make me endeared to the Lord permanently(MOksham). However seeking a Sri Vaishnava AcharyAs feet, AdiyEn am blessed with Prapatthi(SaranAgathi or BhAra NyAsam) and following his commandments, AdiyEn am relieved from SamsAra to enjoy eternal bliss(Nitya Kaimkaryam). This is our belief in Thiruvadi Sammandham. AdiyEn would appreciate very much the comments of Sri Jeeyar Swami, in relation to the above posting, as AdiyEn is a SIlamilla SiriyOn with little JnAnam, AnushtAnam or VairAghyam(AdiyEn mean it,Sathyam). AdiyEn posted this for the purpose of sharing what little AdiyEn heard and yet with the intention of learn/relish more from Sri.Jeeyar Swami's Thiruvullam on this topic.
