Guest guest
Jai Srimannarayana, >"ramlal chandraganti" >i would like to request you to mail me a writeup >of the excellent commentary delivered >by swamiji on sloka 14 in 1st chapter of bhagvadgita With complete surrender to our Acharya, here is an attempt to present His High Holiness Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Chinna Sriman Narayana Ramanuja Jeeyar Swami's kalakshepam on 14th Sloka of Srimad Bhagavad Gita (SBG). {Part 1}=> /message/1145 {Part 2} ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Veda Vangmayam is 'anantam'. The essence of the entire Veda is handed to us in the form of 'o:mkara'. 'o:m' contains three letters. 'ah' + 'uh' + 'ma' = 'o:m'. A big tree is embedded in a small seed from which it grows. But we can't see the big tree in the small seed. Even if we cut the seed and analyze it we won't find any green leaves, flowers, branches, numerous colours inside the seed. All these are hidden (rahasyas) in the seed. If we make proper attempts like sowing the seed, supplying water, sunlight etal as needed and to the extent needed, we will start seeing beautiful green leaves, beautiful flowers, wonderful fruits and so on. Where did all these appear from? Did these appear from the seed or did they appear from the earth, or did they appear from the sky? All these appear, only from the seed. But why can't see them in the seed even if we break the seed? We cannot see them because they are hidden in such a minute form which is invisible to us. We need to know the process which will make these invisible objects which are present, into visible objects. Nothing can come into existence from nothing. If these were not already in the seed, then why dont we see human beings coming out of a mango seed. Now-a-days scientists are calling these DNA-patterns and saying they have invented new scientific methods. But all these in reality have been explained in Veda. Similarly this entire Veda Vangmayam is embeded in the o:mkaram (pranavam). From the o:mkaram everything gradually is emanated. The entire Vangmayam that we see today will gradually condense into Vedas. All these Vedas will condense into three mantras. The three mantras will condense into three 'vyahruthis' - bhuhu, bhuvaha, suvaha. These three vyahruthis will condense into three letters 'ah', 'uh' and 'ma'. These three syllables 'ah', 'uh', 'ma' form the 'o:m'. Eventually these three syallables 'ah', 'uh' and 'ma' will condense into one syallable - 'ah'. This is the process which happens during the 'pralayam'. There is process of 'srusti' which is reverse of 'pralayam'. Generally people refer to this as the process of creation. >From 'ah' the three letters 'ah', 'uh', 'ma' come out, from these letters (o:m) the three vyahruthis, 'bhuhu', 'bhuvaha' and 'suvaha' come out; from these three vyahruthis the three 'pada:s' which forms the gayathri mantram come out; from each of these three comes out a Veda; from these Vedas this entire vangmayam comes out. To be continued....... Jai Srimannarayana Raghuram Mudumbai Ramanuja Dasa
