Guest guest
There certainly must have been earlier Vishishtadvaitic interpretation of Gita. As we very well know, Sri Ramanuja is not the founder of VishishtAdvaita philosophy. Just as Sun's light allows a lotus to blossom, so did Sri Ramanuja cause blosoming of VishishtAdvaita. Sri Rama Misra or Manakkal Nambi, desciple (and son?) of Sri NAthamuni taught BhagavadgIta to ALvandAr. Yamunamuni (ALavandAr) later composed GIthArtha sangraha. Yamuna Muni is one of the pUrvAcArya for VishishtAdvaita. K. Sreekrishna
