Guest guest
Dear Devotee, Considering that this is an Internet dicussion forum, I believe I am already doing what I can: In identifying problems: -by probing from various perspectives on matters of interest to our community. -by helping to draw attention to the issues before us but sometimes we do not see. -by stimulating feedback from a variety of people in different forums. -by sharing the understanding gained. -by articulating the identified problems. In seeking variety of solutions: -by helping the emergence and communication of probable solutions. -by revisiting some of the matters discussed earlier. -by challenging dogmas and fatalistic thinking of our brothers and sisters. -by looking for cultural and philosophical context in selecting solutions. -by pointing out the availability modern solutions. In articulating what can be done: -Putting forward probable solutions after having considered the above. -Sharing these solutions as part of knowledge management among us. Action to implement is a choice of those who are in direct need of that action. No one can just go ahead and implement something for someone else just because these are discussed in the Internet. These Internet discussions may provide motivation and some direction. From that to actual implementation, there is a need for organisations of relevant people to manage them: i.e., to study in detail to get full information, decide, do detailed planning, raise resources, implement, monitor, maintain and undertake continuous improvement. And then to come back and tell us their success stories to motivate in turn others and to show them the bette ways! There will always be issues and we will always need action groups everywhere towards continuous improvement. In the end, it is everyone's effort at improving our lot. I do not hold any magic wand. anbudan, Sathia
