Guest guest
Priya Sriman Govinda Madhavji! Jai Srimannarayana! Long ago your questions were reached us but due to our ya:thras, we could not reply to you. Here are some answers. Anything that happens in the external world, karma of somany people will be involved in that. If there is a fruit, it is the result of the farmer, who grew that, it is the karma of the persons who saw that, who carried that, who desired to eat, but ultimately who ate that, who sold that and who distributed, packed and so on. So also, if one was punished, karma of one who ordered to punish, who argued on his behalf, who supported, who listened and sympathised and who witnessed the execution of the punishment and so on. But for inner whorld, like dream world, karma of that particular person is only involved. But, for persons like Prahlada, Nammalwar etc., in addition to the individual karma, God wanted to show the greatness of His devotees also to the world. Then their personal karmas go to a side. God personally involved directly in such cases. So karma has secondary importance there. Whereas Bhishma, Pandavas & Meera Bai etc. it is their own karma, gave them results. Bhishma was, though abled to stop the atrosities committed by Duryodhana, did not stop him. that was an indirect support to Duryodhana. And again during the war also, he stood on the side of evil directly. He was witnessing the event when Drowpathy was disrobed in the assembly by kouravas. That was another big mistake Bhishmacharya committed. So also others. 2. Duryodhana, was ruling the Hasthinapuri, having somany towns and villages in it. It was almost the capital to the whole North India, in those days. 5 villages asked by Pandavas, were the 5 places where they were insulted or cheated or got hurt by kouravas, in different occassions viz., burning the house, poisoning by food etc., =chinnajeeyar= govindamadhav [govindamadhav] 1.Do the devotees of the Lord like Prahlada Maharah, Bhisma, Meera Bai, the Pandavas suffer on account of their own KARMA or is it a LILA of the LORD. 2. Lord Krishna requested for 5 vilages from Duryodhana for each of the 5 brothers before the Battle of Kurukshetra. How many villages did Duryodhan have at that time.
